Hello, my name is Chanda Hunt. 

 

I am currently enrolled in my final semester at IU East located in Richmond, IN. I intially began my student career undeclared and it was around the middle of my Sophmore year at IUE I fell in love with the arts deparment. I became passionate about Art History, which lead me to pursue a B.A in Fine Arts. As I began this journey in the Fine Arts program I created art that lacked cohesivness. Simply creating things for the sake of doing so, I lacked exploration of a deeper understanding. Until I attended my first Women and Genders Conference held at IU. I was surrounded by amazing intelletuals who really inspired me to explore the concept of gender and preformatvie gender. This interest is shown through my recent photographs.
